The rain is good for Lisa/Liezel. Vania/Yari were feeling hot. They were playing well and were getting pumped up. Hopefully this cools them off a bit.

The tough thing about this is that this is a good chance to cool Shvedova/King off. But stopping around this time puts a bit more pressure on Lisa/Liezel to try to come back. They have more time to think about it and that can be a bad thing. BUT coaching can occur, so hopefully they get some good tactics to try to take this to a third and eventually pick up the win.

For starters, MJF saying Slava's best shot is her backhand. They need to be finding her BH more often, way too many shots to the FH. I do agree with what the commentators said that their first volley's need more stick like they had in the opening games. The best thing they can do is just cover the lob, and continue the pressure. The lob will work on some, not on others but I think it's best they stick to what they do best.
