Sveta plays Kirilenko. Just played in Rome and Sveta has to improve from that 1 to win this match.

I'm cautiously optimistic. Of course, there is still Li Na looming who Sveta just recently lost, but it could be a different match outdoors especially if it is on Lenglen, which has slower clay thean PC

I dont remember Sveta ever winning a match like that. A lot of majors are won by players who had match point against them in early rounds.
But she has to go 1 match at a time. Maria just beat Sveta on clay

I don;t know why, but I'm not worried about Maria. The only player I'm worried this half is Li Na. Seriously.

^My words exactly. During the last match against Kirilenko Sveta was quite good and if only the 1st set would went different she probably won. But again Sveta needs to wake up earlier, not when she's loosing the 2nd set in a row.
As for Na Li I saw her in Warsaw a week ago and she was so so. So Sveta in decent form should win.
As for yesterday's match I was suprised by many things (the winning, duh!) but I was postively suprised how good and fast Sveta was moveing at the court (except the first games of the 1st set). So as fittnes goes she's prepared really good.

Why I'm worried about Li Na is because she can handle Sveta's power and spin and can impose her game.

Kirilenko won set 1. Sveta is playing poorly. Maybe its better if Maria moves on..
Sveta is lucky to be playing today at all.

Sveta lost to Maria. So there goes the clay season with 3 wins in 4 tournaments.
Now a huge ranking fall with FO points from last year gone.
This is just the same crappy tennis, and Sveta doesnt belong in the top 10.

Maybe this will propel Maria to better results.
She's been working hard to improve.
Maybe now Sveta will fight every point, every match, and be more consistent.
