Well, Zvonareva's still only made two TII+ finals in her career, losing both. She has Venus in the quarterfinal who she did beat on clay in 2003, but is 0-3 since I think? Yes, 0-3. Then she probably has to face Serena in the semifinal, who she also beat once.
Actually, I prefer Vera's chances over Serena much more than Venus. If she only has to beat one or the other, if that many, then I think she has a great shot at the final. I'd love if she got revenge against Jankovic there for Auckland.

Reason i want Venus to win!:
Venus needs to stay with the pack and she was some great chances to get in the top five!
If she wins this she will be no.6 and about 400 points away from Maria?
Well i just love to see one of the WS in the pack and Venus has a better chance of staying with the pack!(actually playing tournaments)
