Wow, a lot of withdrawals since the initial list.
I'm surprised Yoon-Jeong Cho and Eun-Ha Kim withdrew.
Good luck Mi-Ra Jeon. Hope she goes all the way.
No Kaori Aoyama. She's withdrawn all her tourneys since the National Championships... hope she's not injured again.
Chisayo Ito injured herself a couple of weeks ago, hopefully she's recovered by now.
I wish the Chinese team came here. They would do very well this tourney if they played.

Stephanie Cohen Aloro is still there. I hope she will have a favourable draw.
As for the Chinese, I am still wondering what they are doing. They seem to be training so much that they forget to play tennis tournaments .
Agree with you TBE, good luck to Shelley too (and Ka Po).
Angelique seeded #1. It will be interesting to see how she handles the situation. I think it is a new challenge for her.

Some bad match-ups: Angie vs Jin-Young Mi-Ra vs Ryoko Shiho vs Suchanan
I expect Angie to have her hands full against Jin-Young who's much better than her rank suggests. The reason why she isn't ranked as high is because she attends University.
I'm surprised Chin-Bee got a wildcard, glad she did. Jiro if you get a chance to talk to her, please ask her how long she expects to play on the pro tour? She only turned pro in June after graduating from College in the States. I used to email her but I think her address changed since she graduated.

Interesting first match between Jin Young and Angelica. Angelica is extremely unpredictable in a match. So difficult to bet on any of them.
Stéphanie ranking must have improved since she is now seeded #5. I'll check this out on Monday when all Aussie ITF will have been taken into account.
danker, these players are all the same : they change of email address and they don't inform any one .
