It depends on what she gets in return from the federation. Professional French players that choose to remain within the French federation system pay back between 10-30% (depending on their ranking) of their match incomes to the FFT. In return, they have the huge federation training and medical facilities at their disposal as well as medical staff and tennis coaches travelling with them on tour. IMO, financially speaking, it's worth the payment. Even when they were within the top ten, both Tsonga and Simon only had cheap federation coaches. >_<

her coach is her husband and she's already paying him on monthly basis (  though it will go back to her through the credit cards ) i can forsee Na cutting ties with them completely and go fullt professional (hiring her entourage directly..having her own training facilities etc etc)

i think Na is a very smart woman... she knows that the tour is weak right now and even though she is 28, she didn't play that much tennis... even got a break in 07... so physically she is not that exhausted...
I can see her playing after Olympics 2012... Her best chance is the Australian Open...
