Daria didn't enter US Open, even though she had a decent chance of getting into Qualies as an alt. The only consolation is that she didn't enter Juniors either, so at the very least, she's finally retired from Junior tennis!

Eugenie it is. Kind of feel like Bouchard is the more talented of the two, but who knows.

Not totally sure why Daria seems to have adopted this recent trend of mostly playing lower level WTA event qualies. She might scrape through a round here and there, but she's not really getting much of anything from these events. At least on the ITF tour, wins means valuable experience, and she also has a decent chance of making the later stages at some of the events.

Her team is giving her bad advice, probably. She was a star in juniors, and maybe expects to automatically be a star at the WTA level

Anyway, went three sets against Eugenie, so at least she's making a bit of inroad. Score: 64 16 46.
