Nice effort by Anna in the second set. She wasn't expected to win this but she looks better than in most of European indoor season so far. I don't think Serena or Jelena can expect an easy match against her.

If Anna plays like she did in the second set, she'll qualify. Her service holds were really impressive.
I was pretty impressed, but I didn't see the first set.
Justine seems to be chugging along nicely. She definitely won't get tired.

Justine's serve was way off today, she must improve it for the next matches, but I'm sure she'll raise her level when the going gets tough
