that's not even close to their best though. I feel their best matches are the 99 US Open and the 00 US Open semi finals. Just brillant tennis two years in a row  |

What happened was Venus beat Hingis here 4-6 7-5 6-4 in Warsaw evening their H2H. Then, Hingis beat Venus in Rome the next week 0-6 6-3 6-3 taking the advantage once again!

That clip brought back sooooooo many memories. There were a lot more great shots than that, but it was overall a pretty dodgy match until the third when Venus was going for broke. Dodgy or not, it had tons and tons of drama and one of Venus' best and most important wins in the past couple of years. Simply stunning. Just one reason why she means so much to me.

Rome 2006 was much cleaner from both, and Venus played better since she made half of the errors that she produced in Warsaw.. sadly it was not enough to win
