Re: Sally Peers
Sally broke into the top 300 for the first time this week, she sits at 300 in the rankings and has very few points to defend until the Aussie 25k's at the end of the year. I would be very dissapointed if she didn't reach at least the top 250 this year.
She is playing Mildura next week and will be the seventh seed, good luck Sal.

Re: Sally Peers
She's top 100 in doubles (98) now so she has the chance to play WTA events in doubles and qualies in singles. She should pursue that at some smaller events and we may see a break through. Maybe Sally and Laura Robson will get a wildcard into Wimbledon doubles.

Re: Sally Peers
They shouldn't need a wildcard being ranked in the top 100

Re: Sally Peers
Sally will gain her highest ever ranking 277 this week. She is also playing the 25K in Sydney this week. Hopefully she will start travelling soon so we can get an indication of where her game is at.

Re: Sally Peers
I will go watch Sal in Sydney 25k if she makes it to latter rounds.

Re: Sally Peers
Apparently Sally and Laura Robson have been given a WC into the Doubles draw at Wimbledon. Good news!
Anyone know if Sally is in the running for a spot in the singles qualifying draw?

Re: Sally Peers
If Laura Robson asks the LTA to give Sally a QWC she'll get it!

Funny - I was thinking that as soon as I saw they got a doubs W/C. They may have a spare or 2 for quals and I reckon Sal has as good a chance as any of the 'extras'.

saw her in the doubles, really like her and the way she plays. Her and Robson will be a fantastic partnership when both playing well....

Re: Sally Peers
Sally just qualified for a $100K tournament in France which is a good result - slowly starting to get a few wins in overseas tournaments. She also won her R1 doubles.
She plays Foretz in R1 - good luck!
