Yeah, it was very sad. When she played her game "normal" she was definitely the player who dominated in most time, but she did again soooo many errors.

Well, it was a bad year, but her attitude is obviously still very good, so I'm optimistic. I hope she can come back at least to Top-50.

Before the match she said to me "Yeah, it is time to win some matches again, here I want to start with it"

Aravane scored yesterday her first top 100 victory since Wimbledon

. She defeated Maria Emilia Salerni 61 36 63. She got broken only once and broke three times. I guess she still has those problems in return, but it's a good result. She has been training very hard lately at the Mouratoglou academy, good to see it pays

She plays Yari Shvedova now. Allez!

Two good wins in a row for Aravane

, she defeated Shvedova 64 76(4) and plays Klösel for a place in MD.
Good to see her finding some form just in time so as to be in the AO's MD

Ugh, pretty much the worst possible draw.

She's got the game to give Patty trouble if she finds some form. She'll need to play really well though. We'll see what happens.

Aravane lost 64 63

. Many wasted opportunity on Patty's serve, she came close to break her so many times but always fell down due to pressure, in my opinion. She only managed to break her once. In addition her serve completely left her yersterday, she had a percentage inferior to 50%
