She's no more with Mouratoglou's academy. So it's her own choice. It would have been easier in Guanzhou, I guess she really wants to compete with best players.

yes its positive to compete with top players but losing in first round is IMO not interesting for her and her confidence.

Aravane reaches the final round, she played a very serious match against Galanina and won 62 62. She was pushed at deuce in the fifth game but since that point she never was in danger. Good to see she built on her excellent performance against Katya. It's just frustrating that she can't keep this level during the whole year.
