Fingers tightly crossed for tomorrow, Johansson is playing very well and I don't expect it to be easy.
But whatever happens tomorrow it is just great that she is back in the top 100. I'm really pleased. And hopefully Monica will be able to put together another good run next week in Bucharest as well.

Yeah, it was a fine week. Monica won the doubles title, she made the singles final and she is back in the top 100. At the start of Wimbledon Monica was ranked just 137 but she did a great job refinding her game on the grass and take has carried over into the summer. If Monica can keep playing as well as she has the last six weeks I'm sure that ranking will continue to improve as well.

Very good revenge after Garcia-Vidagany beat her in Marbella qualifying earlier in the year. 
Next up is Maria Elena Camerin who beat Monica in an ultra-epic 5+ hour match last year in Athens. This would be an excellent time for Monica to dish out even more revenge.
