There are still 2 weeks before qualifying draw. Therefore there'll probably be 5 withdrawals & some WCM. It should be enough for her to play there.

plus playing an itf wouldn't help her as entry positions are done six weeks in advance

Kristina crushed Sloane Stephens 6-1 6-0 in just 47 minutes!!! That's impressive considering that the American girl is very powerful and their previous match (in Paris;last month) was much tougher.

OMG Kristina is just amazing!

I was expecting a very tough match today against a very talented player with powerful groundstrokes but seems like it was soooo easy for our girl.

Court 4 witnessed an exceptional performance from Kristina Mladenovic, who booked her place in the semi-final defeating Sloane Stephens 6-1, 6-0. Her fastest serve today was 122mph, and her ground strokes were a phenomenal sight to behold in someone so young. The No.1 seed, coached by George Goven, former coach to Tatiana Golovin, progressed to the last four in only 46 minutes. She was helped by winning an impressive 5 out of 6 break points.
