Kristina will face the talented Slovak player, Magdalena Rykarikova. Tough match but it's already a relief that she avoided all seeded players in R1. She has her chance, Magda having only one victory on clay this season. If Kristina puts aside her nervosity, I believe she can upset her.

never watched rybarikova game.

Well she didnt win much on clay this season, I guess kristina will be very motivated to reach round 2 to play jelena jankovic.

Kristina played very well and showed she is not far from these top 100 girls. She lost 61 26 86 after having been two points away from the victory. Only 2 points but tiredness and lack of experience talked for themselves in the end. Rybarikova stayed pretty consistent overall but didn't appear to be above Kiki. It was really close!

Courage Kiki, you made us proud today!

yes she was very close from beating her opponent today.She said herself that the rain interruption was an important of her loss today.
Great match from her,her serve is just

, in the third set at 4-3 i think,she served a ball at 194 km/h right on the middle line
dominguez is right when he say ,she reminds a lot about venus williams serve

there's still the junior,good luck to her there.

She will break Venus's record one day!!! Don't worry her second serve will be fine, it's already way better than in Melbourne.

I saw her doubles match with emilie loit against hantu/suguyama and she's also very good at the net.
She was laughing and clapping to emilie great net skills,they looked enjoying their pair there.

The junior draw is out. Kristina is in a pretty open part with Haas in R1, Cepelova in R2 and perhaps Embree or Holland in the 3rd. She would draw Robson in QF, who is far from being a good claycourter. Anyway after her fantastic breakthrough in ITFs, hard not to see in Kristina a favourite!
