I am so happy for her  ... Damn, she took the number two in the world out in straight sets  This is an unbelievable week ! I hope she still has some energy, she has a final to win as well as some matches in Roland-Garros. Even if she will be tired, she will have much confidence with her and a lot of support. Then she will play Eastbourne, so she can give her all best now !

I know you could do it!!! I actually believed in Aravane the time she beet Pova in RG for the first time, you remember? But she wasn't as experienced so then Pova rebroke and al.

Yes too many mistakes and not enough first serve. It was a tough match for her because Marion is playing so well at the moment and she couldn't have the support of the crowd.
I am disappointed as I wanted her to win at least a set, but she wasn't far in the second one. She should have broken Marion in the last game, pressure got her.
Yet I have to say that I am satisfied with her level of play, she has much more control now, she can also volley. She needs a better physical condition to be able to play two tournament back-to-back.
I hope she will win her doubles with Julia now.
She is training with Patrick Mouratoglou in his academy at the moment (that's where comes from Baghdatis). I don't know if this will last though.

Well I'm a little disappointed car ce match était à sa portée (sorry I don't know how to say this in english).She made it all:the good points and the errors.I hope she's not too discouraged by this loss,despite she'll lose loads of points I think,but she has to keep fighting.She had an amazing week last week and knows what she's capable of .Bartoli is tricky and more experienced than Aravane and Aravane rushed too much at certain points.
Good luck in doubles now!!!! Allez!!!

Yes, i hope she will do something in doubles now.
I believed so much she could have won that match but at the same time it's hard for her to go on winning after having played a few matches in a row as said. |
