I watched a little of it. Simi was moving well & hitting the ball well... but honestly, she didn't have to do alot as Yakimova was not forcing any play & giving alot of free points especially on DFs for breakpoints. Hopefully Simi will start having more confidence & take it one more extra match this time to grab her first title

Random note but she has changed from the BLX tour to the BLX 98' Pink racket. Can't really see from the livestream if its just a paintjobor the real deal, perhaps some high res close up pics will provide some clues soon.

Simona up 6-2! She lost her serve twice but took that of Greta 4 times (Greta served 7 double faults of which at least two on break balls!). Let's hope Simona makes it to the semis!
