Not much luck in Odense this week with only a couple of the girls winning there R1 match. Emma Roenholt had the best result making the QF, though.
In Birkerød, Hannah Viller Moller and Olga Helmi had the best results of the Danish girls. Unfortunately, both lost in the QF. In doubles, though, the girls had much better results. Three teams made it to the SF and the team of Olga Helmi/Alisha Ali Hussain won the doubles title over the top seeds, 61 63.
I think Emma Rønholt did well in the Odense QF. She lost 57 57 to (4)Eliza Omirou (CYP) who eventually won the SF 63 61 against the #1 seed. Emma lacks match play at the moment.
Congats to Olga Helmi/Alisha Ali Hussain with the doubles title
It was announced today that Emilie Francati & Julie Noe will play U18 European Championships in July. I hope it doesn't interfere with the Copenhagen 10K (or qualies). I suspect both girls could be worthy of a wc (certainly Julie, since her club KB is hosting the tournament)?
