Emilie Francati hasn't been very lucky with her draws in the higher tier tournaments lately. Roland Garros and Wimbledon qualies are probably safe but it would be nice if she could earn a few more points - just in case (or to secure MD entry!).
The Danish girls playing last week didn't have much success in singles. But Frederikke Svarre had some success in doubles, winning three matches in a G4 in Malta. She plays in Malta again next week: she has just qualified in singles.
Also, Julie Noe seems to be playing a G2 in France. GL to both.

Good week. Beat an unseeded and a seeded player, and lost somewhat close to another seeded player.
Julie will probably play in France again next week in a Grade 1 tournament. Emilie Francati is also on the acceptance list (I'd like to see a Danish doubles team, but that depends on whether their ranking is good enough to get IN as a team). Julie will probably have to play singles qualification.
Julie Noe (DEN) d. (6)Verena Hofer (ITA) 62 36 64
Good win. Danish players have lost some really close matches against Verena Hofer in the past (Emilie Francati, and Simone Alipieva twice). Julie plays doubles with Italian Georgia Breschia. They're seeded #3 and have a R1 bye.
