Miriam & Boogie - Wimbledon Doubles thread
I thought I would start a separate thread for the doubles.
They are playing now against Rittner and Vento-Kabchi. The opening stages of the match were close, but Miriam and Boogie have just claimed the first set. Keep going, girls!!

Well, it became a topsy-turvy match in the end. Miriam and Boogie managed to lose the second set, before racing into a 5-0 lead in the third. Final result, just in, they're through 6-3, 3-6, 6-1. And that was on Court 5 where Miriam had her good win yesterday. Next in the doubles: Tina Krizan and Katarina Srebotnik. (Meanwhile, I hope to be there tomorrow again, to cheer Miriam on in the singles.)

Miriam's mixed doubles match got transferred to Centre Court! And she won! Slight recompense for losing the singles against Daniilidou earlier (see my separate report).
Women's doubles with Boogie tomorrow (Sat) on Court 4. I hope to be there.

boogie lost in Mixed doubles yesterday to bjorkman and Kournikova. It was really too bad they lost cause boogie showed some good tennis.
Good luck miriam and boogie and miriam and paul!

Yeah, Boogie was good! It was a good match in general, just that stupid Evert Schneider who wouldn't stop tearing Anna down !

I was watching rtl5 yeah (was it on eurosport?). At one stage they kept talking about her bad serve, and how great Jonas was, she was so bad and Jonas was so great. My mom and I were like "bet he couldn't do it alone! "

Miriam and Boogie
I saw the first set, which they won with a single break of serve, and they were playing quite well. But Miriam lost her serve half-way through the second set, at which time Elena Baltacha (a Brit) was about to start her third-round singles match on court 2, and it's not every day - or even every year - that I get chance to watch a British woman playing singles this far into Wimbledon so I'm afraid I missed the rest of Miriam and Boogie. The final result was that they lost 6-4 3-6 1-6 so it seems they crumbled after I left.
