JASMINA TINJIĆ Od trinaest hrvatskih tenisačica jedina prošla kvalifikacije za ženski turnir

Puno očekujem od Zagreba

Od trinaest hrvatskih tenisačica koliko ih je ukupno igralo u kvalifikacijama ženskog turnira Unique Zagreb Opena, do glavnog se turnira probila tek - Jasmina Tinjić (16), koja uza Splićanku Petru Martić ima status naše ponajbolje mlade igračice. Jasmina je u dojmljivom izdanju jučer prošla zadnju prepreku u kvalifikacijama, Švicarku Stefaniju Boffu (6:3, 6:4).
- Nisam igrala najbolje što mogu, bilo je popuštanja koncentracije početkom drugog seta (gubila 1:3). No, svejedno nije bilo bojazni za prolaz, tek malo više posla nego u dva prethodna meča koja su za mene bila lakši trening - puna samopouzdanja je Jasmina, koja vjeruje da u Zagrebu još nije rekla zadnju riječ.
- Mislim da ovdje mogu igrati sa svakom tenisačicom i da mogu do pravog rezultata - najavljuje Tinjić, koja hrvatskoj javnosti nije previše poznata, no radi se o djevojci iz Tuzle koja već nekoliko godina živi i trenira u Splitu i kojoj mnogi predviđaju blistavu tenisku budućnost.
- Najčešća baza su mi tereni na Firulama, a trener mi je Duje Mrduljaš - objašnjava Jasmina, koja je početkom godine pobijedila u Australiji i Ruskinju Anastaziju Pavljučenkovu, prvu juniorku svijeta.
- Dulje nisam igrala juniorske turnire, pa zato nemam naročit renking. Stoga ću u Roland Garrosu morati igrati u kvalifikacijama. Planiram igrati sva tri juniorska Grand Slam turnira, no sve češće pokušavat ću i na seniorskim turnirima. Cilj? Uvijek želiš najbolje, biti u samom vrhu. No, najbitnije je zdravlje, ostalo će sigurno doći - zaključuje Tinjić.

I just came from Zagreb, what a day it was, some great matches!
I'm so sorry for Jasmina, she is realy talented and couldn't play normaly because she was injured! I was siting in front of her coach, he said that yesterday she pulled out her stomac muscle and she wanted to retire, but he told her to try and see how it goes!
Unfortunately, it wasn't good, although Szavay isn't very impressive!
Jasmina likes to hit ball early, so she played from inside the court while her opponent was way back just waiting for Jasmina's mistakes!
Hungarian has a nice backhand though, her best shot, Jasmina tried to play more to her forehand as her coach was telling her to do so, but still she couldn't move properly!
It was a bit sad, but I'm glad it's nothing serious!
