This is a tough draw. Especialy if Nadia is worn out from her week in Paris. I still think she'll beat Zvonereva but Chakvetadze will be very tough. Good luck Nadia!

She is scheduled to play until Thursday. It should be more than enough time to recover from her busy week in Paris. Plus, she's not playing doubles this time.

Yes, Chakvetadze could certainly be a major roadblock to the semifinals. Like any Hingis-type player, she is exactly the kind of player who could give Petrova fits and pull an upset if Petrova is having a bad day.
But having said that, Antwerp is a very winnable tournament. Petrova has beaten Mauresmo several times and Clijsters will be feeling the pressure of winning at home in her final season and just might crack under it. But, as always, one match at a time.

If Nadia is skipping both Dubai and Doha, then this is an important week to keep her in the top 10 going into IW.

Well, Nadia lost to Anna 3-6 4-6 in the Antwerp QF. 
What is the next tournament for Nadia? Is she playing in Doha? And is she playing in IW and Miami after that? |
