Rankings do effect some tournaments that have "byes" and if they aren't updated on a regular enough basis then players eligable for a bye in a tournament could potentially miss out.

Okay, we can cheer here again for an update, but we are still 2 weeks behind schedule. That is no problem, as long as it is not standard that this delay is there. This is the last time that I am offering my help. I would be very willing to try to make this rankings mostly a weekly update, with or without the help of Sjoerd (I am correct about your name), but as I am standard ignored by Davaj MKirilenko, this problem will never be solved! So if people would like this ranking to stay up-to-date and are willing to let me try this, please respond in this thread!

I'm with you regarding posting the rankings on time.
If Sjoerd is not able to post them on a regular base, anyone else who could would be more than welcome.

Help is appreciated of course. And I do know that there were some struggles with the rankings lately.
I'm doing the rankings for 5 years now and now I was really some weeks behind. I don't have to explain why but I can understand the players are not happy. I'm able to keep it update.
I don't like the idea that 2 or more people work on the same sheet. Names are changed and the results of the managers are not always correct and sometimes not even given. Indian Wells and Estoril this year were badly managed, gladly there are still players that finished the job there.
