Re: ~Ana's articles~
I'm sick and tired about womans tennis and confused by all newest (controversial) news about Ana...
In monday will start European Mans Championships in Basketball (in Poland) and I will try (if that is possible ) to forget about Ana for couple weeks because thinking about her in this moment is so frustrating... even painful.
Here is link of articles section at official Eurobasket 2009 site: http://www.eurobasket2009.org/en/coid_SywzcsJzJToYcOgTRcLq63.articleMode_on.html, and my advice for all here who also is over-frustrated about Ana at the moment to forget about her in next week or two and redirect your attention to something else.

Re: ~Ana's articles~
Forget Ana is a little bit difficult to me, even in the situation she is right now. Anyway I will follow the Eurobasket for sure. I think we play against Serbia the first match, I think.

Re: ~Ana's articles~
I could never forget about Ana. It's just to hard for me to detach myself from her. I don't know what I would do when the day comes that she announces her retirement or has a injury like Masha had and is out for a year.

Re: ~Ana's articles~
My problem is that I love tennis.. I play 3 times a week, watch all the time. I do this since I was 5. And I don't feel like not watching tennis just to detach from Ana. Because right now, whenever I see a tennis match, I can't help but think about her.
I find basketball almost as boring as golf..

I can imagine Jelena. It's pretty popular here as well.. I just don't really like it.

Ooh thanks for the link, I think I might follow that since with the exception of Melanie Oudin and Kim Clijsters, the WTA portion of US Open is done for me.
Basketball is pretty entertaining, it's just kills me when during the final two minutes of almost every basketball game, the coaches always calls multiple time-outs and that just ruins the intensity and moment for me. I remember watching the Western Conference finals one time and being pissed off since there were six timeouts in the last two minutes of the match and four in the last minute of the match.
If you guys are so pissed off about Ana's lost oppurtunity just go watch ATP side. I'm cheering for Roger and Novak specifically (until they meet in the semis), besides their matches are always entertaining unlike the double-fault error fiesta at the WTA .

I read it. Actually I've been rooting for Partizan since I know Ana supports them Even in an Euroleague match they played against a Spanish team, Unicaja Malaga.

There is nothing wrong in rooting for Partizan
It just proves that in sports it`s not all about money
If you have the will and desire to win you will go far no matter that your club has a budget that is equal to a salary of some basketball star in Europe, not to mention NBA

Re: ~Ana's articles~
i like basket too, especially euroleague... i root for Turkish teams somehow, Efes Pilsen and Ulker (now Fenerbahce i think) Istanbul... they never won it though
We had great teams in Italy about 10 years ago (2 from Bologna and 1 from Treviso) but now is a bit worse, only Siena is good...
