I heard there were some very good rallies..It must have been a solid performance from Lena and Caroline(playing together for the 1st time...and against AussieO. and Wimby champions)

They should have teamed Dementieva with Sharapova.

It was a fun match, they all seemed to be having a good time esp lena and Caroline but they took it fairly seriously aswell. Some nice rallies, lena's serve doesn't look too bad, it looks like she's been working on it Zheng/Yan missed some easy volley's too which made it more interesting. Good look lena in the singles tomorrow

Sharapova is not likely to be picked for doubles over the other 3 players that will be in the team which will probably be Dementieva, Kuznetsova and Safina all who have lots of doubles experience and are likely to be chosen over Sharapova in doubles
