That's not a very nice thing to say, however, I do agree to an extent. I think the consequences of not looking after her skin out in the sun all the time and being underweight for years (obviously not so much now as in 2003) have taken their toll.
It's ridiculous to say that her looks have totally deserted her though, she's still gorgeous.

Any pro or even any avid tennis player is going to see sun damage--sunscreens cannot totally protect you from the damaging effects of continuos sun exposure. She often wears a visor, so she's probably done the best she can. Her face/skin looks no worse than Sharapovas' and Maria is like 4-5 years younger.
