No title for Klaudia/Santiago, despite a 5-3 lead in the first set (they lost 6-7(3) 1-6). But having reached this GS final as an alternate team is still amazing, and so unexpected  |

Klaudia has reached in Montréal last night her biggest final so far (if we don't count her mixed doubles final at the French Open also this year), with Kristina Mladenovic, beating en route Llagostera Vives/Martinez Sanchez, Pavlyuchenkova/Safarova, Makarova/Savchuk and Rodionova/Voskoboeva
They will play today against Petrova/Srebotnik for the title, so very tough match to come.
Klaudia and Kristina had already got great results earlier this year in Doha, where they defeated great teams too (Hsieh/Peng, Benesova/Zahlavova Strycova). |

Klaudia and Kristina won the title, by defeating 3rd seeds Petrova/Srebotnik, 7-5 2-6 [10-7]
Biggest title so far for Klaudia, 3rd title of her career.
Klaudia and Kristina will play the US Open together.

Yes, but because Klaudia and Kristina were not ranked high enough  Klaudia said that they wanted to play together in Cincinnati but their ranking was too low. |
