Tactically it can be even better, if they played in one team and drew strong pair (and lost) there would be only 2 pts for each. Creating 2 pairs makes better chance to 90 pts for at least one of them, which would be better for Klaudia/Ala team later in the season

I guess.....but I could understand if they didn't play together in a smaller event. But I would think that they would want to play the GS's together. Perhaps because it is the start of the year, they want to get some pts together and then maybe play together in the FO, Wimbledon and USO.

I just hope they play together as a team this year, especially given their year-end success in 75ks and 50ks last year.
