Im 12 and my forehand is a BIG SHOT. But it is not consistent whereas my backhand lacks that extra snap but i place it really well so it doesn't matter. What i want to ask is how can i make my forehand really consistent and keep it at the same pace it is now.

I disagree. By "working on your accuracy first" you will probably end up with poor technique which will ruin your chances of hitting hard, which you say is your weapon. Just really watch the point of contact, and try to add some topspin if you don't already.

Depends on how you "work on accuracy". Because for me, it was just like the serve, work on getting it in with a proper motion, but not as much speed.

In addition to hitting with my coach, I sometimes hit with the wall. This is because the wall gets everything back to you. So this way I focus more on the take-back, contact, and all things technical regarding the stroke. In fact, a lot of great players used the wall as one of their training place, take the young Monica Seles for example.

Then once out on the court with a coach or just hitting partner, I set a goal, say rally 10 balls to that area of the court (increase the number as you get more consistent but my rule of thumb to myself is try to push beyond the limit each time). For starter, work on the cross-court forehand with moderate pace and at LEAST 1 net high, this way you give your shots safety and just get a feel for things to come. Once you get the hang of it, adjust the drill from there onward. Sometimes I change things a bit by changing the height of the shots, changing the spin and the pace of the shot, and sometimes the angle. For extra difficulty, force yourself to recover back to the middle after each forehand, and get back to position to hit the forehand. This way, you practice a bit of your footwork too. Also, one tip that I got from a coach is to practice inside-out forehand, this is not for the sake of hitting inside-out forehand, but rather it is about extending your racquet INTO the court, keep your head still and it forces you to be more technically sound with your forehand because inside-out forehand is a tough shot to do. But the inside-out drill should only be done once in a while.

But I think the most realistic way to improve is to take up tennis lesson, learn some more basic, do more drills, and work from there on! And HEY! That would be a nice Christmas present from your parents too (though a bit late)!
