It was meant to be a bit sarcastic, but not on that sense.
Greatest single example of mental fortitude ever: Euro 2004 final.
Indeed. No wonder there were no Serbs involved in it.
And don't make fun of us. Look at what kind of players we're stuck with - not only are they completely useless, but now they started getting themselves run over by cars and whatnot. Plus we have Cp6uja.

Србија is love. There are some really annoying deluded anchitards, I can barely communicate with some of them, but Србија is lovely.

If she would just try to play like this at this year's Open, maybe she would snatch some wig. I hope she learnt something from the match vs Serena. At least, she has to defend those 2nd round points.

No, no. Misunderstandings.
First post: not doubting the undeniable existance of the "indomitable Serbian spirit" (heroism in both world wars, etc.), joke was applying that concept to some meaningless tennis match.
Second post: reminding disheartened Serbians that at least they didn't make themselves a laughingstock by staging the biggest collective choke of all time (+ flat out denial afterwards, but that's another matter) - 11 (+ subs) adult males pooping themselves at the Euro 2004 final.

Sorry for you, but Greece winning the whole thing in Portugal... It was hilarious.

The SF with the Czech Republic was worse - it was the most blatant smash n' grab win I have ever seen. Czechs completely dominating the match, wasting one chance after another, Greece didn't do shit the whole match apart from the goal they scored. I remember immediately after the match just sitting there dumbfounded as to how something like that could have happened. Then I thought "No big deal, the Greeks will lose in the final". And then pure terror as I remembered "OMG! They're playing Portugal!" (the only team that could find a way to bottle the final no matter how useless and harmless the Greeks were - and they did).
Isn't Dellacqua probably the first "to become" punchbag in Bojana's short career?
Vika in the second is really tough, I hate her playing Vika, because I always remember that Wimbledon second round match. Well, isn't this draw the same as back in 2010 at Wimbly?
She can beat Dellacqua convincingly, but Azarenka is really a tougher - miracle happens.
