Re: Kim-Alice Grajdek
At 22, Kim-Alice is already a veteran of the tour. She's ranked #580, but her career-high was #405. Her best year was in 2011, when she ended it ranked #425.
Although she's never won a pro singles title, she's been proficient in doubles, racking in 6 titles to date, including one this year.
Kim just played on the WTA-tour level this week, getting into the qualies draw of Strasbourg. Although she tried her best, she could not upend higher ranked Viktorija Golubic, falling in three, 36 64 16, in two hours.

Re: Kim-Alice Grajdek
IMO it is too much making a thread for every player who gets a WTA-MD, then Anne Priska Schäfer would also had had one.
Edit: And she lost...
Viktorija Golubic def. Kim-Alice Grajdek 6:3 4:6 6:1

Well, sometimes KA does go deep into ITF tournaments, and sometimes I want to post but remember that she doesn't have a thread
She may never be more than a journeywoman, but you never know how far she goes.
Carolin Daniels is younger and may actually do more on the tour. We'll see. There was a time when I was posting about "nobodies" like Mona Barthel... those were the days!
