Re: Mariya Koryttseva.
I would appreciate it if someone could enlighten me a bit on how Mariya plays. Just when I think I have her figured out, she gives me another strange result. I really thought she had a great matchup against Bychkova, but then comes down to earth with a boom. Somebody help me please!

Re: Mariya Koryttseva.
Mariya stops playing for a few weeks, she is tired and needs rest. She'll be back for the European clay season probably.
A few vids of hers in Miami on my video thread: http://www.wtaworld.com/showthread.php?t=332464&page=5

That match was quite good actually, from Mariya. especially second set. But Bychkova truly is a great defender, and as Mariya was not hitting as hard as usual, she could not end the points.
But the match vs Lisicki was worse, Mariya almost hitting no ball, especially in first set. But the reason is she was totally exhausted, she had worked a lot the fitness and felt the aftermath. She'll be back strong I hope.

Re: Mariya Koryttseva.
Uggh! She just lost in the Fed Cup to Schiavone 3-6,7-6,7-5
Now, Italy leads 1-0
She deserved to win, and this is coming from a neutral fan of this Fed Cup tie, a Greek-American.
Hopefully, Alona Bondarenko will turn things around.

Re: Mariya Koryttseva.
Koryttseva is now ranked 66 in the world. I am surprised that she does not get much support.
