As guessed, Shuai's in the entry list for Bronx. At the moment, she's in qualies. Hopefully she'll make the MD.

What exactly do they mean by this? 
Although Shuai's form has been encouraging lately, let's hope she makes the Top 100 first.

I don't think she has proven herself too much on WTA level yet, although traveling with the first ladder will help her progress for sure! Shame Ren Jing couldn't join her on her travels, she has been very disappointing this year in singles, as have Chun-Mei and Sheng-Nan although in doubles they have made great progress... Keep developing, girls

Yup, chen belongs to Guangdong
as far as I know,Sheng-nan needn't, Liu Wan-ting once belongs to the army-related team, so did Huang Lei of Tianjin
BTW,only five girls are in the country secondary team from last year end, they are Zhang, Chen, Liu, Han Xin-yun and Lu Jing-Jing, Ren isn't involved, so she had no chance to play foreignal tourments as Hebei team have no financial support

That's really sad about Ren Jing...
I wonder why she was able to play Pattaya and Bangalore, though?

What has Lu Jing-Jing done to deserve being in the second ladder team? 
The CTA has always made weird decisions i suppose  Hope Ren Jing and Chen Yan-Chong and Xie Yan-Ze recapture the form they were showing earlier in their still young careers

it means she will allow the team (na li, zheng jie, yan zi and tiantian sun) to play the tour, not many ITF tournaments.
