Next tournaments?

Well I've looked over the ITF Tournaments for next week and they're not mentioned as playing anywhere so I'm wondering if Lyudmila is actually hurt (as she retired this week).

Twins starting the season at 25K Andrezieux-Boutheon, France. Nadiya lost in second round of qualies & Lyuda seems to be only playing doubles.

Lyudmyla Kichenok won 25k Moscow!

And had some pretty good wins over Gavrilova, Panova and Krunic there.
Was really impressed when I saw Lyudmyla play Stosur in Fed Cup, April 2010.
Unfortunately I can`t find the match highlights on youtube anymore.
Can you please make a new one, Slutiana or tea? Thanks.

Nadiya deserves some praise too, because the twins also won the doubles.

The last time that I looked, I wasn't able to find those match highlights either.

BTW do they play similar tennis? Lyudmyla seems way more successful than Nadiya.

From the little that i've seen of them (one match from Lyuda & 2 games from Nadiya), yes they are both hard hitting baseliners. However, I think Lyuda has a harder & flatter game while Nadiya seems to have abit more spin on her shots. Never seen this personally, but I've read that Nadiya has better hands at the net than Lyuda, so I guess it kinda makes up for her less imposing ground game.

Nadiya is in the finals of 25K Minsk, hopefully she will take the title against Olga Poutchkova tomorrow

Lyuda lost in the qtrs to Poutchkova, so it would be perfect for Nadiya to take revenge for her twin as well as finally be in the spotlight.

Twins also won the doubles title

Nadiya lost to Olga, 6-2 7-5, in the Minsk final -- it was Nadiya's 1st singles final at a 25k -- but it was another great showing by the twins in this tourney nonetheless.

Twins are back in action at an Italian 25K. Nadiya had to make it through qualies.

Nadiya won after a hard fought 67 76 76 victory. Lyuda just lost.

I was watching Lyuda's match and her loss was all mental. She nearly broke back for 5-5 in the second set, missed 2 break pts & lost the set, immediately she starts getting frustrated and down on herself at the beginning of the third set. In the third set, she had bps to go up 5-3, blew it & got broken immediately with frustration clearly showing. Down 45, she was 15-30 upon her opponent's serve, misses a backhand DTL, smashes her racket down & proceeds to lose the next 3 points & the match
