kumiko's great form continued she made the sf in the guagzhou 590k!

she is at career high ranking of #228

kumiko will play the 25k event in noto ,she must have a great shot at the uso qualies!

I saw Kumiko play her first round doubles match at Obihiro with Namigata. She played quite well, they beat the Sema sisters 63 36 76

Kumiko signed a picture for me at the end of the match and had a photo with me. I didn't get Junri's autograph though because I forgot

She was so nice

and thanked me when I congratulated her on winning Gunma.

She was hitting the ball quite well

She could go quite far.

Today I saw Kumiko vs Zhang

She played really well in her match too, Zhang is a good player.

She also asked me to show her some of the pictures I took at the next tournament I go to. I told her that I live in England and she laughed and said "I will come to tournaments in England just so you can see me" I doubt she will :aww: but it was sweet of her. She was speaking in Japanese and was speaking so fast I had to concentrate really hard

It was a really hard match. I am just relieved she is through. Kumiko rocks, she certainly won me over this tournament.

No way did I expect this, Erika was pretty solid in her first round match. I guess I have given Kumiko luck
