Yup, usually around 40 US dollars (35 usually). But you also need an IPIN now (which is around 40 bucks per year). The good thing is, if you go to the tournament sign up, but don't get in the qualy draw, they give you your money back, but you can still get to practice on the friday night and saturday with good players.

Re: Your tennis results?!
It makes me want to get an IPIN number...is it really worth it if you do play in college?

Re: Your tennis results?!
If you think you'll really get to play tournaments, then yes it is worth it. A lot of US tournaments have 128 draws and they are often empty, so it might be worth it if you travel.

Re: Your tennis results?!
My best results (match quality wise) have been:
4-6 6-4 6-4
I was up 4-0 in the first before I lost 8 games in a row to go down 4-6 0-2 before I was able to find my range again.
7-5 2-6 6-2
Down 2-5 in the first set and down 0-2 in the final set before I won 6 games in a row to win the match.

Re: Your tennis results?!
Played in a tournament a couple of weeks ago. My back decided to completely seize up more than ever; couldn't run, couldn't serve and couldn't really do much but swing my arm. I lost 2-6 3-6

Lost 6-3 6-2 today
This guy played my defensive Caro game, but SO much better.
I even pulled a Serena and yelled "come on" when he got the ball back.

Re: Your tennis results?!
4.5 USTA player here.
Won my singles match 6-2, 3-6, 6-0
Should have been 6-2, 6-1 but ran out of gas in the middle of the 2nd set so I tanked the set and started playing hard again in the 3rd. Worked out pretty well.

Re: Your tennis results?!
Lost a tough three-setter last night: 3-6, 6-4, 1-6. I played his slowball style in the first set, and since he's better at it than I am, guess what? In the second set, I decided to come in behind all my first serves, and it paid off; I held serve the whole set, and when I finally got a chance to break in the 10th game, I took it. We both took a bathroom break, and I lost the momentum I built. I held to start the third set, jumped out to a 0-30 advantage in the next game, lost the next four points, and that was all she wrote. He ran the table and won the match. I am now 1-1 in revenge matches this season.

Re: Your tennis results?!
Lost today. I played so bad, I don't know how it got that bad.
My opponent must've hit about 10 winners during the whole match. I probably hit about 25 but i'm pretty sure doubled that in UE. I just dont know what happened. I've played him before and won easily....I just played so bad. Even in the 2nd set I played poorly, but he just played worse.
4-6 6-1 (4-10)

I actually did, I got sooo pissed off as well which didn't help. But if Serena is proud of me then i'm not complaining.
