Re: Cheering Thread: Grass Season
So we don't know yet who will be Sara/Roberta's rivals tomorrow, as the semis weren't played today due to rain. The semis will be played tomorrow from 16 h, and after that the doubles final will be played. Good luck!

Re: Cheering Thread: Grass Season
I feel sorry for Roby and Petrova.
Roby has to finish her singles qf tomorrow, if she wins she has to play singles sf ánd doubles final.
Petrova has to play singles sf, then doubles sf, then maybe doubles f....
I have a feeling doubles final will be on saturday.
btw, I almost got the Vanity Fair interview translated. Give me 20mins.

Re: Cheering Thread: Grass Season
Thanks for the interview, I had had a quick look in Italian but thought I would read more carefully when Linda translated into English, as I would understand better
To be honest, I think this interview shouldn't have brought so much controversy (still many crap comments are coming in Sara's facebook), yes, the footy thing, if you are fan of one team and someone tells you they hate that, you are not too happy, hehe, but I think it is quite interesting to read, you realise of how hard it can be being a tennis player, not everything is nice. And the question about Pablo...silly journalists....

The comments about Balotelli are bad. But the thing about the teams is really not bad at all.
Btw, I got a great reaction from an Inter fan: "it's a shame you don't support us because your eyes are the perfect representation of our colours."
I'm surprised journalists haven't tried to stir trouble over the comment about Francesca.
The question about Pablo is priceless. And it reminds me of a few years ago, when my friend saw Sara and Pablo for the first time:
*looks at Pablo*
*points at Sara*
"Who's that player? I hope she gets far."

Stealing pics then...Thought that looked familiar Well, not the best week for Sara's fans with that interview, so not too happy about that twitter account performing again... (I must admit that I was going to comment earlier that at least the twitter account was quiet for a while and I forgot to do... )
