Generally tennis is not a sport you watch for the hot chicks. You watch for competition and emotions, but definitely not for hotness.
For me it appears the most attractive girls go to volleyball, figure skating and some select track events. To be honest, college volleyball is the ultimate concentration of hotness for me! 
In general the nature of tennis doesn't promote sexy bodies or faces. You shouldn't expect to see beauties in tennis, and if you do find some, they don't count competitively. For example, the one currently regarded as "the hottest", which is Sharapova, is attractive only by tennis standards when compared to others. And many would argue even that! However, if she had gone to other sports, like volleyball or tracks, she would not be even noticed at all. You know, it's all relative to where you are. You get the best you can get.

That's why I don't think I want to watch my favorite players in bikinis. They are not supposed to appeal to me sexually, but to give me a good competitive game.

I think it´s both of it, why I watch womens tennis. I love the competition and beautiful girls in short skirts.

1. they are better looking - tall and slim
2. there are more of them
3. they don't wear skirts at all!
