Can anyone help or tell me where to find help on this Windows XP problem??
Hey All.

My Windows XP is being screwy. If I leave it on for too long I cannot click on anything, and the Start Menu appears at both the top and the bottom of the screen (neither work to try and use).

Anyone else seen/heard of anything like this, or anyone know a site where I can find answers???

you don't provide much information about the problem.
does the machine lock up?
can you move the mouse OK?
can you click anything else?
does the Windows key work? (or Ctrl-Esc)?
try checking the support pages at microsoft.com, or do a web search..

What I think is...
  1. Your Windows XP is "screwed up". Get a new copy and reinstall.
  2. Something has gone wrong while you install your Windows XP (assuming there are no flaws in the CD). Reinstall it.
  3. Worst case scenario - it isn't your Windows, it's your PC. Get it fixed or buy a new one.
