Re: The Exquisite Ekaterina Ivanova Jumping Thread!
I'd say she should definately qualify now, South would have to pull off a blinder and Doi... well Doi is consistently average, no massive wins in her career so far and doesn't beat a lot of players inside the top 200.

Re: The Exquisite Ekaterina Ivanova Jumping Thread!
Rain delay =
Needs to get the job done tonight. She does everything better than Doi, she should be able to get through in straight sets again I would think.

Brain fart on QR3 - lost to Doi 57 46.
Not good. And a huge oppertunity lost.

Re: The Exquisite Ekaterina Ivanova Jumping Thread!
Katya @ 50k Torun this week.
(1)Anastasia Pivovarova (RUS) vs. Irina Buryachok (UKR)
Reka-Luca Jani (HUN) vs. Paula Ormaechea (ARG)
Ekaterina Ivanova (RUS) vs. (WC)Katarzyna Kawa (POL)
(8)Madalina Gojnea (ROU) vs. Karolina Pliskova (CZE)
Unlucky not to be seeded, was next inline for one. Still a pretty good draw though.
Doubles:
(4)Beygelzimer/Ivanova (UKR/RUS) vs. Kosińska/Zagórska (POL/POL)
Piter/Sobaszkiewicz (POL/POL) vs. (WC)Barańska/Nalborska (POL/POL)'
I really like this pairing and I think they could win the title.

Re: The Exquisite Ekaterina Ivanova Jumping Thread!
Katya back this week @ 50k Olompuc CZE
(5)Stefanie Voegele (SUI) v Karolina Pliskova (CZE)
Ekaterina Ivanova (RUS) v Ana Vrljic (CRO)
Let's hope she can win one match, but who knows.
Cabeza-Candela/Garcia-Vidagany (ESP/ESP) v Vrljic/Wienerova (CRO/SVK)
(4)Ivanova/Kostova (RUS/BUL) v Bergot/Burnett (FRA/ITA)
This pairing usually struggles. Let's hope they can turn it around this week.

Re: The Exquisite Ekaterina Ivanova Jumping Thread!
Lost to Jurikova last week. Not good enough.
This week in 50k Krzan in Russie
R1: (8)Ekaterina Ivanova (RUS) d. Kateryna Kozlova (UKR) 26 61 64
It's on hard court, let's hope Katya can turn this year around. US Open next.
That's an ok start, at least she won.

She's all over the place at the moment.

They should be able to make the final.

Re: The Exquisite Ekaterina Ivanova Jumping Thread!
SF: (2)Ivanova/Klepac (RUS/SLO) d. Lykina/Sirotkina (RUS/RUS) 63 61
Into the doubles final which I don't expect them to win, but still a good week.
