Yeah, exactly. Bagel girls are hardly winning games in matches they play. But I think Top200 is a good criteria for this list as well, as the players who come into this HOS need to be able to play actually.

But I am pretty sure she will get to 10 soon

I know what a bagel girl is (will Dillingham make it to 100 in a row? currently at 75 ), but with no offense to Miss Cohen, that's where I was going.

I'm not really a follower, but starting with Cavaday, this looks like 10 to me.

And yet, for the reasons given above, she shouldn't be on the list.

Re: (In)famous Losing Streaks (10+)
List updated thanks to Archer's input.
He has some pre 96 losing streaks as well (you can post them now here, Archer)
The list has another famous name added... Alexandra Stevenson.

Re: (In)famous Losing Streaks (10+)
Double-digit losing streaks prior to 1996:
14 Monique Javer (Jan 94 - Apr 95) [she has perhaps the worst W-L ratio ever for a top-100 player]
14 Cecilia Dahlman (Mar 91 - Sep 91)
12 Kimberly Po (Nov 94 - Aug 95)
12 Silke Meier (Jul 88 - Apr 89)
11 Sophie Amiach (Feb 86 - Aug 86)
10 Monique Javer (Aug 88 - Feb 89)
10 Vicki Nelson-Dunbar (Dec 87 – Sep 88; also had 9 in a row in 1983)
Additions are welcome.

Re: (In)famous Losing Streaks (10+)
Longest losing streaks:
1997-1998: l. 1R Moscow, Prague & Moscow
1999: l. 1R Filderstadt, Zurich, Moscow
2001: l. 2R Linz, 1R YEC & Fed Cup
2002: l. QF Bol, 1R Berlin, 1R Rome
2003: l. 1R Berlin, Strasbourg, & RG
2004: l. QF Sydney, 1R AO, 2R Tokyo; SF San Diego, 2R Montreal, 1R Athens; YEC
2005: YEC
2006: SF Moscow, 2R Zurich, YEC
Congratulations to Elena Dementieva for losing at least three matches in a row every year from 1999-2006, and another round of applause for three separate three losses in a row in 2004, and don't forget to bring out the champagne for five losses in a row at the end of 2006!
---
Pasted from my Lena stat thread. In case anyone might be somewhat interested. 2007 was her only year she didn't fit that format. She did lose two matches in a row from the Tokyo SF and Antwerp 2R but she was injured, man.
