Mirza tanked the match against Nakamura to avoid playing Martina on Indoors. . Nakamura later felt the taste of playing Hingis in indoors.
Anyway Sania needed a break after her grusome Tennis schedule.(Asian Games, Hopman Cup and Hobart.)

Re: Sania's next opponent
Never seen her play. Seems to be an inconsistant player, but if she plays moonballs then sania be ready. but seems to be a beatable opponent.

She is a clay court specialist. So expect some moonballs and drop shots.
well she beat Na Li this year in Gold Coast. So she cannot be underestimated. But Sania should handle her easily. I say Sania will win 7-5 6-3

Re: Sania's next opponent
Well lets hope so!! This is one of the toughest draws she could have got in this tourni..Tamarine,castano,taiwanese player, santagenlo all could be very hard to beat on a given day for sania..Hope she comes out blazing.. wish she was in makiris quarter!!

Toughest draw. ? This is easiest draw she could get. the first half of the draw is much harder because there are players like nakamura, peng, bardina oprandi. But lets take it one match at a time.

Re: Sania's next opponent
Never trust a moonballer, even if a player is outside 1000 but plays spins, drops and moonballs , she is a danger for sania. if sania is in her doha form she will blaze past most of the draw in straight sets but if sania of australian open comes then we can only pray.

Cannot agree with you more on this buddy. She can beat anyone and lose to anyone on any given day.

Re: Sania's next opponent
Tanasugarn.. She beat sania on grass once and last time at Doha sania won easily..But Tammy whined about loud indians in the crowd(which must be true but crowd kinda affect both players..) So she will be ready to get revenge on home soil..I hope sania can pull this thru
