Justine Still Questionable...No Word Until Wednesday At Earliest
From Her Official Website:
21/03/2006:
This Wednesday super Tier 1 Nasdaq-100, rated right below the grand slams, commences play. Justine's participation is an uncertainty as final consultation diagnosis from medical examinations will determine if she can be a part of it. If Justine does play, her first match wil be on Friday or Saturday.
The Nasdaq-100 Open is a super Tier I which gathers the best players of the WTA, and ATP for 12 days of competition in Miami. This event features the highest points, and prize money on offer for a tournament outside of a grand slam. It's a test for all players, especially Justine who first must pass her medical consultation exams for a back problem that's bothering her. She will also consult with a specialist about the knee injury. The Belgian champion has stated many times that health will take a priority, and she will only go on court if a green light is given by doctors, and specialists. We should have news about Justine's participation on Wednesday at the earliest.

Since the draw has already been posted, and Justine withdraws, it would listed as a withdrawl. No re-doing the draw at this point.

oh ok. I hope she plays. I really doubt it's that serious. But withdrawing before play begins is better than doing it halfway through Miami. Anyway, at least Martina is in that quarter. She stands to gain in case Justine withdraws - well either her or Sveta or Patty.

i dont really mind if shes not fit i dont see her getting past amelie anyway so shes not much of a threat to be in the final and also justine has never got past the quater finals in this tournie so she clearly doesnt like the surface.

if Justine pulliing out, it's the sign that top players don't give a damn to mandatory system. WTA should cancel it.

wishing ill health on a player? that's so classy
and she's won so many titles on hardcourt before, so it clearly doesnt have anything to do with the surface

True it sucks. Justine also said that it sucks and she'll watch at her own health before anything.
That said, I hope she withdraws. No point in agravating the injury
