I didn't see the match but I think she played well.Pushing a top 20 player to 3 tight sets in front of her home crowd is definitly a nice performance

Btw,she is still alive in doubles.She qualified with Azarenka (what a nice combination

) for the main draw;they play Vanc/Beygelzimer in the first round. Davai girls

Nice start to the tournament

Katya lost in the 1st round last year, so this is an improvement

Vaidisova is next and I hope that Katya blasts her off the court

Congrats for your first win in a grand slam Katya

Nice match despite the fact that she lost her focus several times (she led 4/2* in the first set ,then let Ivana Lisjak coming back to 4/4 before holding and breaking for the set.Then, in the second set she led 1* /0 but was broken back.After that,she led 4*/3 40/0 but once again was broken back

Still, the most important is that she won
