Mary leads H2H 6-2, including Roland Garros 2005 R16 and San Diego 2005 QF. But Patty played amazing tennis today against Elena and if she continues that form, Mary will have to pick up her game. However, it can be a different Patty and different Mary that shows up on the court tomorrow so  |

true,yes.the only visible proof,we have seen so far,is that patty had a far better start into the year than mary.but what that means,i dont know...mary is an absolute heroine in france,so the motivation will be giantly!and although i didnt see the match vs emilie,the scoreline looks like she hard to dig really deep to succeed,so its not easy to tell her form....but get me right,i dont want to devalue emilies effort,rather the opposite!so pierce 0415,it looks like we just have to sit and wait(as always,in fact )

I think Mary will pick up her game , she kinda struggled so far in 2006 but still made it decnt , so I think she'll play better tomorrow and manage to win this
but of course if she doesnt I clearly see Patty giving her problems

I think Mary should win this one. She served great against Loit, it kept her in it, and I'm sure she'll raise the rest of her game for the semi.  Have a good match ladies! |

Patty has a very good chance to reach the final. She's lost three straight to Pierce but these things usually tend to even up.
