Kalgoorlie $25k:
Singles 1r:
325-Michaela Johansson (Swe) d. 5/237-Moore - 6-4,3-6,6-2.....
Not a surprising loss considering the Swede won the 1st NZ $10k the other week & did well in the 2nd one also. Could've been a better draw.
No dub's this week for Jess, pretty dumb move I reckon!

Re: Jessica Moore
Don't make excuses for Jess losing. Johansson has been playing for years, she's not a newcomer, has been playing the circuit full time now for like 4 years and has never done much. She didnt even beat a top 500 player to win Wellington, the only seed she faced was the 8th seed ranked 582! For all the hype you guys give Jess, and how talented she is, she should have whipped her in straight sets!

I was making a point that Johansson is obviously in form & match tough.
Don't get all defensive with me over the Jess thing, It wasn't me who commented on your opinions of her.
I still think she'll be top 150 by the end of the year....

Re: Jessica Moore
M.Johansson had also a bad draw. Thought Moore will win it. Moore has some upside talent. Wish her all the best!!!
But for Johansson ist is nice!
Go Australia!!! Hope you will get back your tennis tradition. We swedes are also searching for some hope!
