Best any 'Five Years' in the WTA
If you take the five best years of any players, who, in your opinion, would be the best. These five years don't have to be consecutive, but just throughout five years in one single career.

Thats a good question, as most of the players haven't been able to string 5 good years together.
I'd say:
1. Serena Williams (2000-2004)
2. Venus Williams (1999-2003)
3. Monica Seles (1989-1993)
4. Martina Hingis (1997-2001)
5. Lindsay Davenport (2001-2005)

74, 75, 76, 80, 82.
Great matches against great players. Plus, she was a finalist at another slam in both 74, 80, and 82. So, she made up 3 of the eight finalist spots each year. That's keeping things interesting without making things totally unpredictable.

Is that a bad thing?  People need to be aware of the sport, statistics and all, if they want to participate in threads such as the "Greatest Women's Player of All-Time" and such. Some people come up with idiotic ideas without knowing the true facts.
