Best Records in Australia
With the Australian Open coming, I thought it would be interesting to see the best players to play Down Under. I've compiled a small list, not all - but, as much as I could. Here goes:
Monica Seles 48-5 .906
Martina Hingis 62-10 .861
Steffi Graf 54-11 .831
Lindsay Davenport 89-19 .824
Serena Williams 35-8 .814
Venus Williams 39-9 .813
Kim Clijsters 28-7 .800
Jennifer Capriati 40-12 .770

You left out JHH? She's pretty decent. Won the AO, Sydney, and Gold Coast before.

How can Serena be 35-8 when she's only played it 6 times and has won twice? Oh, I see, you mean all of Australia tournys played.

This must include all tournaments before The Open...and the Open as well.
Otherwise, there is now way Davenport has played the Australian Open 20 times! She must have first played the main draw when she was 9, in that case....hahaha.
