Bueno, Abre los ojos también era bastante tramposilla, a mí no me gustó nadita en su día, y me parecía bastante alucinante que hubiera peña que no pillara de que iba.

Por cierto que he descubierto que en el pueblo de al lado hay feria del libro con el 20% de descuento, y me he encargado 4 novelas. Cruzar California de Adam Langer, que fue la primera (y mayor éxito) novela del autor (y la única publicada por aquí), que cuenta la historia de tres familias judias de chicago, y se desarrolla en el tiempo que duró la crisis de los rehenes en Irak (la California del título no es el estado, si no la avenida principal que separa el barrio pobre del rico).
También he encargado la edad de la ira de Fernando J López, que aunque tiene trama de intriga (un alumno de instituto se carga a su padre) por lo visto da un repasito al sistema educativo español, dicen que es muy entretenida (el autor tiene un blog).
La tercera es Recortes de mi vida de Augusten Burroughs, que es una novela bastante popular en los states, donde el autor cuenta su vida con su familia de adopción (de adopción entre comillas, por que ninguno de sus padres se había muerto, sólo pasaban de él) cuando su madre lo deja con su psiquiatra (y demás miembros de la familia). La cosa debe ser heavy (dentro de que es una comedia) por que al autor le cayó una demanda de su familia adptiva, que decía que se lo había inventado todo. Todo, todo no se lo debió de inventar ya que los tribunales le dieron la razón a él.
Y la última es Una casa en el fin del mundo de Michael Cunningham, tras leer las Horas me quedé con ganas de leer más cosas del autor, y todo el mundo dice que esta novela está muy bien

Me suena que sí, y que la Anetta hacía de una madre un poco bastante ida más p'allá que p'acá que hacía de todo para ser estrella o algo así... Lo peor es que si es lo que pienso se trata de un libro bastante autobiográfico así que...

El título original de la novela (y de la película, que está dirigida por Ryan Murphy, el creador de Nip/Tuck y Glee) es Running with scissors. Eso sí, la novela tuvo muy buenas críticas y la película, nefastas. Pero sí, es la película que tu dices

Nadie conoce a nadie es un esperpento (también está basada en una novela) la típica película que cuando se desvela la trama te dan ganas de asesinar al director. Mateo Gil, más que discípulo de Amenabar, era colega. Habían escrito guiones juntos, había colaborado en las películas de Alejandro, y si no me equivoco hasta habían compartido piso

Bueno, el libro de Jonquet se lee en un par de sentadas, que es muy breve (130 páginas lo sumo)... Me ha gustado mucho, desde luego si la peli de Almodóvar se parece en algo al libro tenemos otra peli sombría y oscura, que son las que más me gustan del manchego, la verdad

Por cierto que este domingo con El País por menos de tres eurillos se puede conseguir Ensayo sobre la ceguera de Saramago. Nunca he leido nada del escritor portugués, pero tengo un par de amigas que son muy fans

Quien ha dicho que yo leo libros raros? Yo leo un poco de todo, generalmente narrativa contemporanea, pero también de cualquier género.

Lo cierto es que estuve a puntito de comprarme algo de este buen hombre cuando salió su colección que estaba a buen precio, pero al final no se dio el caso. Pero vamos, que este finde subsanaré esto

Y bueno, yo no he leido libros de un montón de autores conocidos. Especialmente sudamericanos, que por algun motivo, no me acaban de llamar

El último que he leido fue el Club de la lucha de Palahniuk, totalmente recomendable (además el final es diferente al de la película).
Ya tengo claro que cuando me apetezca algo desfasado Palahniuk me va mucho más que Easton Ellis

Pues servidor esta con dos libros a la vez, uno solo lo leo en el bus y el otro para casa.
He picado con Recortes de mi vida, y por ahora esta bastante bien, la locura de la familia esa no tiene limites

El libro del bus es Norte, de Seamus Heaney, un poeta de Irlanda del Norte que da nombre a la biblioteca principal de la uni donde hice el Erasmus y que tenia ganas de leer de una vez por todas. Es un poco lioso leer poesia en ingles porque no estoy acostumbrado ni a los ritmos ni a la metrica anglosajona, pero bueno se disfruta bastante

Yo encargué Recortes de mi vida hace mes y medio y todavía no me ha llegado. Cada vez que encargo algo de anagrama, suele tardar siglos en llegarme. La verdad es que me apetece leer algo divertido, aunque mi última experiencia con una novela de humor, Maldito Karma, no fue demasiado positiva
