lol, I didn't even know Gabashvili was Russian!
What a shame for Sveta... must be pretty frustrating for her, and what's more I'd say this makes SCG the big favourites now.

that is horrible news! 
Hopman Cup seems to be slowly going downhill due to badluck.
Last year it was players pulling out before the tournament, than during the tournament as well due to injuries.
This year, lets hope everybody that does play, at least stays healthy! |

That's terrible. There are 200 million Russians out there. Can't they find any ranked Russia to play with Sveta. That would be such a waste for her. I guess she's sitting there waiting for phone to ring. I hope they tell her they found someone. There is Andreev, Youzny so many of them. Why they don't wanna play?
