The 18 y.o native from Florida, Lauren Davis keeps rising and she's now Top 15 in the national ranking and up 36 spots in the world!
In april, she was 2 times Semi-finalist in $50K Challenger:
1rst at Dothan whedre she ousted 5th seed/n°116 Kudryavtseva and 4th seed/n°107 Lucic before falling to rising italian n°147 Giorgi
At Indian Harbour beach, she took her revenge against the Italian in the 1rst rd who was 4th seed at n°130, before running to the Semi Final where she was upset by surprising n°341 compatriot Maria Sanchez.

As far as Venus is concerned, the road to the Top 10 will be long! HOwever, she's up 15 spots this month!
As a veteran, she may adapt her schedule and only played 1 tournament at Charleston $740K. Once again, she proves all of her talent beating 7th seed/n°17 Jankovic en route before falling in a thrilling 3 sets match vs 2nd seed/n°5 Stosur in QF.
